NOVEMBER is Adoption Awareness Month  

On November 2nd, Jennifer Lauck - NY Best Selling Author - orchestrated a call to honor Adoption Awareness.  On this call is:  Jeanette Yoffe, Brian Stanton, and Trish Lay.  Each of these professionals are adopted, all three were in foster care prior to placement and they have lessons to teach about healing from the impact of their adoption.  Below is the link you can follow to hear the enlightening conversation.

Adoption related issues education is highly needed, everywhere.  Adoptees carry a painful root, a cellular wound that if not addressed and attempted to heal will cause havoc in life; addiction, suicide, self destruction, relationship difficulties.  Self love and self esteem are not accessible if an adoptee is taught at any time they can be taken back to get another child. 

The mission is simple:  EDUCATION and HEALING.  Through self discovery and throwing myself into the depths of my own demons, I give back to those who are lost.  It pains my soul to no end when I hear about a person who gave their life to suicide because the pain was unbearable – then to find out they were adopted.  The emotional pain an adoptee faces is indescribable.  Nonetheless, there is a way through – awareness and education – I honestly believe more individuals can see a full light at the end of the tunnel when they realize they are not alone in the process.  Healing cannot occur if adoption issues are not recognized and made aware.

Adopted children are not like natural born children.  They come with rejection and abandonment attached to the amended birth certificate.  Help me help those affected from adoption related issues.  Let me education you on adoption cellular feelings so you can be a more effective professional, family member, friend.
