LAUGHING WARRIOR:
"Your class was not only a highlight of the year, but of my life. It hasn't been a very happy life, but I can wiggle my ears. I consider you to be one of my most valued contacts. Too many people are more interested in making a living than in living. You are an ambassador of mirth and need to be recognized wherever healthy laughter as a healing source is acknowledged and needs to be celebrated. You are a living incarnation of this attitude and for me it is a pleasure and more to see this year manifest for you in the world. Thank you."
~Stan B./Santa Monica
"After moving back to the LA area I decided I needed to spend some time working on me. On a whim I came across "The Laughing Warrior" course at SMC and decided "why not?"... it was the best decision I could have ever made. The in-class and at home exercises have changed my outlook on life. I feel more confident, aware, and grounded in myself and my decisions. I highly recommend this class. Trish is friendly, approachable, and has a wealth of information and insight on personal empowerment and love. I only wish I would have come across this class sooner!"
"My girlfriend and I wanted to take a class together, and Trish Lay's "The Laughing Warrior" at SMC sounded like it would be a good time. Now that we've finished the six week course, I can say that it was not just a good time (it was actually a blast) but it literally changed my life. I went in to it at maybe an all-time mental low, and I came out of the course feeling the best I've felt in a very long time. "The Laughing Warrior" focuses on gratitude, the power of positive thinking, and focusing on living in the now. Class was awesome, and it was great not only to see my own transformation, but everyone else's as well! Trish makes that happen. She is warm, open, honest, and wants people to find the best in themselves. She puts the emphasis on happiness and finding the good in everyday life. I guarantee that as this class continues, and more and more people take this course, there will tons of 5 star reviews, because she is changing people's attitudes and lives for the better. Trish rocks! I feel grateful to have taken the class and gotten to know her!"
"Four weeks ago, I would have told you that I met Trish by accident, but in retrospect, I realize Trish was an intended part of my life's journey. My boyfriend signed up for her "Laughing Warriors" workshop and the day of their first class, they didn't have enough people to continue the program, so my boyfriend asked if I would join and I agreed, and I'm SO glad that I did. It was the best few Mondays of my life! It really puts a positive spin on the saying, "A case of the Mondays."
Trish is such an amazing human being and her childlike (not to be confused with childish) demeanor is quite infectious. The moment I met her, I felt compelled to hug her because her energy and spirit fills the entire room, wrapping you in an unconditional type of love that we often forget exists between strangers.
When she asked us to hum "You Are My Sunshine" on a kazoo, my mind was screaming, "What the heck is this lady smoking?" while my heart was saying, "If you're uncomfortable blowing a kazoo, then you NEED to blow on this kazoo, senorita." The kazoo was such a minor hurdle to achieve (but it's funny how your mind makes mountains out of ant hills) and when it came time to hool-a-hoop, I was SO ready to embrace the silliness and I hooped and hoola'ed until I began to sweat. Sweating joy that is.... that for once in my 26 years on earth, I wasn't worried about what someone thought of me, or what I thought of myself or whether someone would judge me for being silly. I could just be.
Every class got better and better. We talked about rewiring our thought patterns, eliminating limiting beliefs, creating values and goals that align with those values and basically reestablishing the self love that sits dormant in us just waiting to be reactivated in the hopes of finally enjoying life the way we intended before we made our way here.
One of the things I love most about Trish (and there are a lot of things), is that when you're talking about something, she's actually really, really listening to you. That quality is rare, which makes her a true gem.
I would highly recommend joining her "Laughing Warriors" workshop (check the website for dates) or contacting her in general if you're struggling with happiness. She loves what she does and it shows in her work."
"Trish will gently guide you as you step out of your comfort zone and into a world of new possibilities, and she'll make you think and laugh along the way! This class will do your heart good!"

"Trish Lay is fantastic, and she makes self-help fun. This class taught me how to attack my self-limiting beliefs with laughter and silliness. It felt good to be a kid again."
~ Stacey M./Personal Business Owner
"Trish Lay’s life experiences, compassionate nature and sense of humor make the Laughing Warrior a perfect workshop for anyone who’s ready for positive life changes. She has designed each class to truly be full of laughter – it’s surprising how getting out of your comfort zone can actually be fun! To continue the momentum between classes, Trish has put together excellent instructional and informational workbooks that I will refer to forever. I’m thrilled of the changes and realizations I’ve made since taking the workshop - they are life changing. The class exercises helped me become aware of my negative thought patterns and how my self-consciousness has held me back from having a life full of purpose. I thank Trish from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful experience and helping me find my courage! ROAR!!!"

"I just wanted to thank you for a fabulous class. I must admit I did not really know what to expect from a class entitled “Laughing Warriors” but I can tell you that it exceeded whatever expectations I did have. I learned strategies to employ laughter within myself and at the things that used to get me down. Trish provided me with a structured way to look carefully at my values and self concept in order for me to comfortably effect real change. It is so rare to meet someone as giving and clear as Trish. I am eternally grateful."

ADOPTION AWARENESS: Public Speaking
"As an adopted person that has confronted her past and spent many hours on her own healing, Trish Lay's insight into helping other adopted people goes far beyond skimming the surface. Trish is able to reach the core issues and help the adopted person find their truth, with compassion and understanding. Trish has helped many adopted people find their voices and delve into what it really means to be adopted and most importantly how to heal in spite of the outcome."
~Zara Phillips, Author of Mother Me
"Trish is one of those rare beings...rather than agreeing with the current thinking that most are doomed to remain eternal victims, forever and ever, amen...Trish offers positive guidance with compassion, enthusiasm and insight."

COACHING:
"Being in the heart of the entertainment industry can be taxing on one's soul. It's easy to get caught up in this fast-paced world and lose one's self. Trish is a guiding light through it all. She keeps me centered and grounded. She helps me to figure out what my goals are and encourages me every step of the way. She believes in me. I feel confident enough to take risks and have been successful for that reason. She is sincere and real. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to learn from her. The power of positive thinking is awe-inspiring. I highly recommend Trish as a Life Coach."
~Lori R./Costume Designer
"Trish right away established a positive rapport with me and things in my life immediately changed. She listened to me, showed me other ways to live in this life without allowing the weight of the world to drag me down. She consistently reassured me that I had it and I was a “Rock Star” and I believed it. I am now so relieved of the heaviness, bitterness, sadness and isolation that I was feeling before she and I started our weekly sessions. Trish taught me how to put things in perspective such as the many ways that my energy was being drained, how to have balance and harmony in my life while maintaining trust, and drawing positive like-minded people into my life. In each session l left it feeling on top of the world. Trish would make me laugh uncontrollably as we would share those things that bothered me. She taught me that I had a purpose for getting up every day and to unlock it inside of me, and Oh did I tap in. I now live by that every day. You Rock and I love you Trish for what you have created in me. I will forever cherish how you patiently helped me to see the sun shine again, for that 'I am grateful for you.' Many thanks and God’s Blessing to you and your business."
~Betty N./Chicago, IL
“I have known Trish for nearly five years, and in that time she has been my friend, guidance counselor, priest confessor, governess, and guardian angel. Her listening skills, infinite patience, and sound advice have helped steer me through my personal life, a sometimes tricky day job, and my creative endeavors. Most of all, she genuinely cares. Her support has given me the courage to take leaps of faith and change my life (and career) for the better."
